WRDC offers an integrated scholarship program to Al Gharbia High Schools’ talented students in collaboration with the following entities:

• Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage
• UAE Armed Forces
• Civil Services Department

Objectives:

1. To improve the Western Region students performance
2. To encourage the Western Region talented students to complete their higher education in world-class academic institutions
3. To prepare a group of highly qualified postgraduates to meet the local market requirements and to fill the current demand-supply gap in the Western Region labour market
4. To involve Public and Private sectors in the development process and incentivize them to take part in creating education opportunities for WR students
5. To qualify WR young people to effectively contribute to the development process
6. To enable the WR postgraduates to obtain proper positions in the Public and Private sectors
