WRDC provides scholarships to a number of High School top students; and for this end, it coordinates with the other donating entities for the program optimal resource allocation. WRDC’s services provided:

1. Encouraging Public and Private entities to provide scholarships to WR students
2. Conducting field visits to secondary schools to meet and get the students aware of the local labour market needs and the required academic majors
3. Providing the students with all information required by the donating entities, as well as coordinate interviews with the nominees
4. Following up on the students performance in each semester
5. Offer rewards and incentives to the excellent students during the higher education

Main Steps of Implementation:

• To select top students whose GPA is 80% or more following the announcement of the High School results in cooperation with the Western Region Educational Zone
• Contact the nominated students to know their favourite major and universities, and then to identify the donating entity to which the student will be nominated
• Finalize nomination procedures and registration
• Once approved, students will be interviewed and sign contracts with the donating entities
