The Investment Promotion and Public Relations Division is responsible for marketing and promoting Al Gharbia. The division aims to raise awareness of the region to increase tourism and entice investors by providing state-of-the-art consulting and support services. It is also responsible for attracting and endorsing investment initiatives to develop the region to establish it as a first-class business environment. The division's main projects include:

Branding

- WRDC has been working with the Office of the Brand for Abu Dhabi and is to release a new name and brand identity for the Western Region of Abu Dhabi Emirate in Cityscape Abu Dhabi, May 2008.

Al Gharbia Portal
|
- In addition to WRDC's website, WRDC will also launch a full portal for Al Gharbia, which aims to serve students, businesses, investors, tourists and those wanting to find out more about the region.
